Hotel Brixen is located in the heart of the picturesque town of Havlíčkův Brod, which is geographically situated in the very center of the Czech Republic. Named after the Italian Brixen (Bressanone), the city where Karel Havlíček Borovský spent part of his exile, our hotel bears a reference to this important figure in Czech history. As a journalist, poet and politician, Havlíček Borovský was a key figure in the Czech National Revival. His determination and fight for freedom of speech left an indelible mark on Czech culture and education.

Hotel Brixen was built in the second half of the 1990s and was created by converting a workers' hostel into a cozy hotel with a capacity of 65 beds. Thanks to its convenient location, just 15 km from the D1 motorway exit, it offers our guests peace and quiet in the residential area of Havlíčkův Brod. The 15-minute walk to the city center allows guests easy access to many leisure options, such as local cafes and restaurants.
